120 years ago, and on this day, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was born. I don't have the words to mourn his passing, and I don't expect to. He may have been one man only, but his writings have influenced the lives of millions, and have continued to do so for over fifty years now. His most famous of works are The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings, and through them he has provided millions of people with what I'd argue and say is one of the greatest stories ever written.
May he rest in peace, or in Middle-earth.
